Terms Of Service

These terms apply to all work carried out by Auckland Window Cleaning for residential, commercial and body corporate customers in the Auckland region. By accepting a quote or booking work with us, you accept these terms.

Quotes are based on the information you give us and, where applicable, a site visit. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

If the job on the day is materially different from what was quoted, for example additional windows, restricted access, or a level of contamination that was not disclosed, we will stop and agree a revised price with you before continuing.

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise.

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property, including parking, water and power where the job requires it.

If we cannot access the site at the agreed time and were not notified at least 24 hours beforehand, a call out fee may apply.

Weather affects glass and exterior washing work. We may reschedule for safety or for quality reasons and will contact you as early as we can.

We clean glass, frames, sills and tracks to a professional standard using appropriate methods for the surface. Some conditions cannot be corrected by cleaning, including scratched glass, etched or oxidised surfaces, failed seals, permanent mineral staining and paint defects.

Where we identify a pre existing condition, we will tell you before or during the job. We are not responsible for pre existing damage.

If you are not satisfied with any part of the work, contact us within 48 hours of completion and we will return to address it.

We hold public liability insurance. We accept responsibility for damage caused directly by our negligence.

We are not liable for damage arising from defective, aged or improperly installed fixtures, joinery, glazing, cladding or roofing, or for consequential loss such as lost trading time.

Items must be removed from work areas before we arrive. We are not responsible for items left in the work area.

Residential work is payable on completion unless agreed otherwise. Commercial and body corporate accounts are invoiced with payment due on the 20th of the month following.

Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.

We work under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. Site specific safety documentation is available on request before work begins.

We will not carry out work we consider unsafe. Where an access method cannot be used safely, we will tell you and quote an alternative.
